Working in a pharmaceutical company as a CEO surely has its perks and its share of glory. Deep Lodhari headed a midsized company with a fancy title, a good pay, and a good team.
Company imported drugs and nutritional supplements from the USA and retailed in India. They had offices in Hyderabad, Mumbai and Vadodara.
However, things didn’t feel right and Deep always wanted to do something that was something close to his heart. Having struggled quite a bit, He decided to quit the job and start working on a project of his own.
Now, jobless and with no idea of what the future will be like, He was more excited than ever. Couple of them started working on an IT venture, idea to create ERP solutions for businesses was on the table.
But so were some of his favourite dips and sauces that he would cook up for the meeting sessions. ERP didn’t cook up but Allthatdips did after a couple of meetings.
Dhaval, a friend and colleague from his previous company suggested to retail these dips and somehow they decided to be part of a flea market that was happening in Sansakari Nagari of Gujarat -vadodara.
The event was a grand success, they were out of stock on day one and had to make fresh dips that night to serve next day. they got excited and thus Allthatdips was born.
Dhaval and Deep decided to take it up and started seriously working on it. Within a short span of 3 months, they were able to come up with their recipes and brand identity. They wanted to serve something that is fun, yummy and healthy at the same time.
Allthatdips dips are free from any harmful chemicals or artificial colours and flavours. They make sure our dips are fresh and consumed fresh. With little marketing on Facebook and right word of mouth publicity, they were able to reach 25 daily orders online on the first month of Their commercial launch.
They wanted to scale up and take up the manufacturing in more proper manner, that’s when they moved out from their home and created a facility just for our dips.
Deep mentioned -“Being from a pharmaceutical background, we have an innate requirement for quality control and quality check. We follow best practices from the pharmaceutical industry for cleanliness and quality of our products and our facility. Though we have perfected on 50 dips, we have zeroed in 17 dips, 3 varieties of salsas , 3 varieties of cheesy dips, 3 yogurt-based dips and 4 varieties of Hummus. We serve Yummy Jain Salsa, Salsa tomato, Salsa Picante, Peri Peri Salsa, Classic Jain Hummus, Slated hummus, Roasted garlic hummus, Spicy Sriracha Hummus and Olive Tapenade Hummus. “
Currently Allthatdips available in 5 cities across 3 states with Mumbai, Pune and Ahemdabad being the largest markets.
Allthatdips have strategic tie-up with Big Bazar, gen next, Hypercity, Big Basket and Amazon now for sales and marketing. The journey has been rewarding and has seen lots of ups and downs since they have launched in March 17.
One year down the line, they have forayed into sauces segment with a focus on world cuisine, they will be launching a range of middle eastern sauces, Mexican sauces and oriental sauces such as tahini, harissa, Mushroom sauce, black pepper sauce, spicy sichuan sauce, Peri Peri sauce etc.
They range of sauces will be launched under the brand name of bechef and it will be able online by end of May 2018.
Allthatdips look forward to be THE FASTEST GROWING COMPANY IN FNB SPACE and to remain as such for next 10 years. They are prepared to take this up as a challenge and positively take it ahead.
